Life is a bitch...

  Going Away To College
Friday night I went to the mountains with Ladie. It was freezing out side. The lake is beautiful, ice from Ledgedale to Wilsonville. And the dead trees on 423 look so much better layered in ice. Like a crystaline forest. The fourwheeler didn't work so we had to push the wave runners into the garage by hand. If you put your mind, and every muscle in your body, to it, you can do anything. We watched Pirates of the Caribean next to the fire I built... it looked like a really good movie, but I missed most of the end because it kept freezing. We got breakfast at the little gas station by the house and started home around 11. We got home just in time to change and wrap presents for my Grandmom's Birthday Party. All the cuzes were there and it was good to see them. I signed up to spend my Spring Break on the lake. Then we left grandmom's and went out to dinner at Friday's. It was pretty cool.

We got home and started to pack. Clothes, sheets, towels, shampoo and all the trimmings. Then my computer... the poor thing is all boxed up out in my mom's car. So I geuss I'm gonna put this up and be off to bed. Got an earlie start tomoro. The computer should be up around 10:30... if not I wouldn't worry about it. I've got plenty of time to get it up and running. Well Good Night. And thanks Tim. Wish Me Luck...

Don't forget to
Think about me, and I
Won't forget you.
I'll write you once a week
She said.
Don't depend on
me to ever follow through on
anything, but
I'd go through hell for you, and
I haven't been this scared, in a long time
And I'm so unprepared,
so here's your valentine.

  Quotes By Death
"I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that makes living worth while?"
Death thought about it. "CATS," he said eventually, "CATS ARE NICE."

Death paused, "YOU HAVE PERHAPS HEARD THE PHRASE," he said, "THAT HELL IS OTHER PEOPLE?"
"Yes. Yes, of course."
Death nodded. "IN TIME," he said, "YOU WILL LEARN THAT IT IS WRONG."

I'm sure I'll run into more as I get on with the books. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about (i.e. everyone who reads this blog, if indeed ANYONE reads this blog) They're from Terry Prachett's DiscWorld Books. Rather good books.

I also bought Ender's Game the other day. Which was also a most excellent book. Today I bought Ender's Shadow, which is one of the sequels.

Leaving for school on Sunday. Can't say as I feel one way or another about it. I'd be sad that I'm leaving my friends, but there isn't much left to leave. So I'm feeling very ambivalent about the whole thing. I'm going to the mountains on Friday night with the ladie though. That should be some what intriging (I realize that this word is spelled wrong, but do not know how to correct it without consulting a dictionary, which I do not wish to do) I work Thursday... so my last three days should be mostly full up. But I got loads of free time now to do whatever I like with... sadly there aren't many things left that I like to do... I read alot... I think about clening my rooms sometimes... spend alot of time with the cats. Cats are good things...

I'm thinking first order of business when I get to school is to go to some sort of bar and pick up some random stranger. Everyone I know seems to think I'm the sort of girl who would do that and I'm finding that it's easier to be what people think you are then to show them that your seomthing else entirely. But such is life and such will it always be. Not really a bad sort or a good sort either... Infact Life reminds me alot of death in the DiscWorld Books... not cruel... just terribly good at it's job.

So anyway... I'm sure you're all intrigued ( would ya look at that I think I spelled it right) by my odd sense of good cheer... I must admit to you that I do not quite understand it myself, but it's good to be happy again and feel foolishly optimistic... makes the world a brighter place... tomorrow I shall see what further adventure I might have...

I met this interesting fellow at the foot of the escalators... black hair taller then me and a gorgeous smile... and he smiled and said, "Hi." And I looked up a bit suprised and then I smiled back at him and said, "Hi." And then I walked off and he continued on his way, but I looked back and there he was looking back at me...

I think it bodes well for the future... my set of beliefs is a bit irrational and illogical, but they suit me. Just ask those who know me best about my Phinancial Philosophy... Everything turns out all right in the end, the way it's supposed to... Destiny through free will, if you... well, will...

The moon is hiding tonight, off somewhere behind the clouds and I cannot see her through my window, but all is well... There is a song I used to sing, when I was young and we went to traditional church we sang the hymn "It is well"

Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

It is well, It is well
With my soul, With my soul
It is well, It is well, with my soul

Even so, it is well with my soul.

It is well... with my soul.

...this is true. But she's my bitch.
